Parents' perspective on recovery at home following adenotonsillectomy: a prospective single-centre qualitative analysis
CONCLUSIONS: The findings from this qualitative analysis provide insight into the challenges faced by parents when caring for their children at home following TA; these challenges included difficulties managing physical needs and pain. The analysis suggests that educational content should be standardized and include the use of pain scales and diaries, and both pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic strategies. Working with dreams and nightmares: A review of the research evidence.
