Residency as an IMG
Hello, everyone.
I am 5th year med student (out of 6) in the Baltic states- Latvia. My goal is to get to the US for residency. I’m interested in different surgical specialities- vascular surgery, plastics with focus on reconstructive surgery and ophthalmology with further fellowship in oculoplastics. residency in UK
hi guys,
i have been studying biology for 4 years without getting a degree because this year I got accepted both from an excellent dentistry Programme at Pavia University (italy, where Golgi Apparatus was discovered) and from a good medicine programme in Latvia.
Medicine is my passion but i know that the Italian medical education is better than the latvian one.
Unfortunately, there were no more seats for Medicine in Italy and it seems that, unless i accept the prestigious dentistry programme seat in italy, the only solution to study medicine is going to Latvia.
with a Latvian degree, no Italian residency programme accep...
