residency in UK

Medicine is my passion but i know that the Italian medical education is better than the latvian one. Unfortunately, there were no more seats for Medicine in Italy and it seems that, unless i accept the prestigious dentistry programme seat in italy, the only solution to study medicine is going to Latvia. with a Latvian degree, no Italian residency programme accepts you and this is because criteria for being admitted are very strict! With a latvian degree (Latvia is in Europe) might i be accepted from a Foundation programme and then from a uk residency programme? and...what are the criteria for being accepted from Foundation and then to Residency? except for language...English, which I can speak. in other words, what are the admission requirements? in italy (where F1 and F2 do not exist, u go directly to residency after your medical doctor degree) the admission criteria are: -your thesis project -your average mark obteined at medical school -your scientific publications -your elective courses attended at medical school what about UK fondation requirements'? Do they accept degrees obteined abroad (es Latvia) for entering Foundation? in theory YES...but in practice? If many English med students are rejected, i do...
