Abstract No. 58 Interventional Radiology Management of Appendicostomy Stomal Stenosis
Patients with appendicostomy (Malone or NeoMalone) frequently develop stomal stenosis. In addition to surgical revision, minimally invasive recanalization can be used to rescue these stenotic stomata. The purpose of this project was to evaluate our institutional experience with minimally invasive recanalization techniques in children who develop stomal stenosis post appendicostomy. Abstract No. 64 Freeze the Pain Away: Cryoneurolysis for Pediatric and Adolescent Patients
Cryoneurolysis has been shown in the adult population to provide lasting effect when certain neural pathways are targeted. However, this data has not been verified in pediatric patients. The purpose of this project is to review indications for and efficacy of cryoneurolysis in pediatric and adolescent patients. (Source: Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology : JVIR)

Abstract No. 65 Development of Soft Robotic Microcatheters for Use in Interventional Radiology: Multi-lumen Microfluidic Tubing and Unidirectional Catheter Tip Fabrication
Transarterial interventions are routine procedures for interventional radiologists. Unfortunately, in cases where tortuous and/or geometrically complex anatomy are encountered the inability to effectively maneuver conventional microcatheters (or guidewires) safely poses a substantial everyday challenge for interventionalists. The innovation of soft robotic microcatheters capable of steering and navigation through small, complex, tortuous, and/or delicate vasculature holds unique promise for a wide range of endovascular interventions currently considered challenging or high risk and represents a paradigm shift from standard...

Abstract No. 68 Preliminary Analysis of Radiomics for Y90 Outcome Prediction in Hepatocellular Carcinoma
In practice, the assessment of the effectiveness of Y90 radioembolization for early stage hepatocellular carcinoma can be difficult, as the affected treatment zone often overlaps completely with the target lesions, and inflammatory effects can obscure or confound the detection of viable tumor. Radiomics may be applied to clinically acquired imaging for prognosis and outcome prediction following radioembolization therapy. This analysis of radiomic features in a cohort of Y90-treated patients assesses the utility of radiomics in making this assessment. (Source: Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology : JVIR)

Abstract No. 69 Settling Turf Wars: When Does Chat-GPT Refer You to an Interventional Radiologist?
Large language models like ChatGPT are being used by patients to understand disease processes and determine who to seek for treatment. Determining how these models portray interventional radiology (IR) to patients can give insight into the public perception of IR. The purpose of this study was to evaluate if ChatGPT suggests treatment by IR for common IR treated disease processes. (Source: Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology : JVIR)
