Improving moral competence in adolescents through non-linear pedagogy in the context of physical education and sport
CONCLUSIONS: Based on the study, it can be determined that the curriculum of physical education, based on the model of non-linear pedagogy, can increase the level of moral competence among young people.PMID:38411046 | DOI:10.23736/S0022-4707.23.15695-7 (Source: Journal of Sports Medicine and Physical Fitness)

Anthropometric, neuromuscular, physiologic and training variables as determinants to laboratory cycling performance
CONCLUSIONS: These results suggest that training characteristics and experience are important when training for incremental cycling conditions, whereas cadence (and its determinant variables) should be looked at during maximal and exhaustive conditions.PMID:38411044 | DOI:10.23736/S0022-4707.24.15547-8 (Source: Journal of Sports Medicine and Physical Fitness)

Comparison of different VO2max scaling models in male and female non-obese and obese adults
CONCLUSIONS: Interpretation of aerobic power and comparisons would be most appropriate when allometrically scaled to the metabolically active tissue (LFFM). Bias is introduced when scaling to BM and comparing individuals of various body compositions.PMID:38411045 | DOI:10.23736/S0022-4707.24.15631-9 (Source: Journal of Sports Medicine and Physical Fitness)

Differences in training load, jump performance and injury occurrence in elite youth volleyball players
CONCLUSIONS: The elevated frequency of injuries and a worse reported fitness levels among females, despite lower training loads, suggests a potential deficiency in physical preparation among young women, particularly in terms of their ability to perform repeated high-intensity jumps.PMID:38407009 | DOI:10.23736/S0022-4707.23.15442-9 (Source: Journal of Sports Medicine and Physical Fitness)
