The effect of university students ’ violence tendency on their attitude towards domestic violence and the factors affecting domestic violence attitudes
Conclusions:Violence phenomenon directed to youth was conducted on senior university students being a more developed group socially. However, young people ’s exposure to violence was found high (42.8%). Nevertheless, their scores on violence tendencies and domestic violence attitude were ascertained low. Prevalence and pattern of domestic accidents in the field practice area of Jawaharlal Institute of Urban Health Centre, Puducherry: a cross-sectional analytical study
Conclusion: The prevalence of domestic accidents was 10.2% in the present study. It was reported mostly among the adults and in the kitchen, with falls being the most common cause and upper limbs injury being commonest. Most of the houses had objects lying scattered on the floor hindering movement; and stoppers and grab bars were missing from the doors and bathrooms respectively. Measuring the sustainability of a community safety promotion network: working from the inside out
Conclusion: MSC was rich in social resources, but considerable in-kind, human and financial resources were accessed through its ESN. The bridging relationships that connected MSC to its ESN, more than half of which were maintained by six broker network facilitators, were the critical social asset required to access resources and thereby sustain network productivity. MWSC is an open network. Open social networks can never be totally self-sufficient.
