Pain management in trauma: A review study
CONCLUSION: To provide adequate pain management in trauma patients require: adequate assessment of age-specific pharmacologic pain management; identification of adequate analgesic to relieve moderate to severe pain; cognizance of serious adverse effects of pain medications and weighting medications against their benefits, and regularly reassessing patients and reevaluating their pain management regimen. Predictors of intimate partner problem-related suicides among suicide decedents in Kentucky
CONCLUSIONS: These results provide insight for the development of suicide interventions for individuals with intimate partner problems by targeting risk factors that are prevalent among this population. Safety and efficacy of Intraurethral Mitomycin C Hydrogel for prevention of post-traumatic anterior Urethral stricture recurrence after internal urethrotomy
CONCLUSIONS: Based on our results, MMC Hydrogel may have an anti-fibrotic action preventing post-traumatic anterior urethral stricture recurrence with no side effects on pre-urethral tissue. Due to our study limitations, our follow up time and the small number of patients, our results were not conclusive and further studies will be needed with a longer follow up time. We present a case of nephrotic syndrome associated with right atrial and supra hepatic vein part of inferior vena caval thrombosis. This patient presenting with dyspena, lower extremity edema and back pain after a vehicle accident and blunt trauma to abdomen.
