Pan-Immune-Inflammatory Value Predicts the 3 Month Outcome in Acute Ischemic Stroke Patients after Intravenous Thrombolysis
CONCLUSION: The higher levels of PIV were independently associated with 3 months of poor outcomes in AIS patients receiving IVT. PIV like other inflammatory factors (PLR, NLR, and SII), can also predict adverse outcomes after IVT in AIS patients.PMID:37921190 | DOI:10.2174/0115672026276427231024045957 (Source: Current Neurovascular Research)

Intravenous Thrombolysis is Effective in Mild Stroke Patients with an Admission NIHSS Score of 3 to 5
CONCLUSIONS: Intravenous thrombolysis is safe and effective in patients with baseline NIHSS scores of 3 to 5. In contrast, it did not improve 90-day functional outcomes in patients with NIHSS scores of 0 to 2 and instead increased the risk of sICH.PMID:37909432 | DOI:10.2174/0115672026275063231023110030 (Source: Current Neurovascular Research)

Causal Effects of Blood Metabolites and Obstructive Sleep Apnea: A Mendelian Randomization Study
CONCLUSION: MR (mendelian randomization) approach was performed to identify 6 protective factors and 12 risk factors for OSA in the present study. 3-Dehydrocarnitine was the most significant risk factors for OSA. Our study also confirmed several significant metabolic pathways that were involved in the pathogenesis of OSA. Valine, leucine and isoleucine biosynthesis metabolic pathways were the most significant metabolic pathways that were involved in the pathogenesis of OSA.PMID:37877151 | DOI:10.2174/0115672026266627230921052416 (Source: Current Neurovascular Research)
