Risk Factors for Cerebral Hyperperfusion Syndrome After Combined Revascularization in Adult Patients with Moyamoya Disease
CONCLUSIONS: Preoperative hypertension, cerebral hemorrhage onset, and higher Hct level were independent risk factors for CHS after combined revascularization.PMID:38321905 | DOI:10.2174/0115672026287201240110092653 (Source: Current Neurovascular Research)

A Simple Score for Predicting Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation in Patients with Embolic Stroke of Undetermined Source in a Tunisian Cohort Study
CONCLUSION: In this cohort of patients with ESUS, NIHSS at both admission and discharge, Pwave dispersion, PAC≥500/24h on a 24-hour Holter monitoring, and LA surface area≥20 cm2 provide a simple AF predictive score with very reasonable sensitivity and specificity and is applicable almost worldwide. An external validation of this score is ongoing.PMID:38321906 | DOI:10.2174/0115672026301430240201094411 (Source: Current Neurovascular Research)

Enlarged Perivascular Space in the Basal Ganglia is Associated with Cerebral Venous Reflux in Patients with Recent Small Subcortical Infarction
CONCLUSION: In the population with RSSI, EPVS in basal ganglia is significantly associated with CVR, suggesting a close relationship between venous dysfunction and the formation of EPVS.PMID:38323610 | DOI:10.2174/0115672026299546240130092550 (Source: Current Neurovascular Research)

Association between Oxidative Balance Score and Severe Headache or Migraine among American Adults A Cross-Section Study
CONCLUSION: The study highlights a significant association between OBS and severe headaches or migraines, suggesting the potential role of oxidative stress in these conditions. The findings emphasize the importance of a balanced, antioxidant-rich diet and lifestyle in managing severe headaches or migraine.PMID:38323611 | DOI:10.2174/0115672026298542240130053315 (Source: Current Neurovascular Research)
