Clinical Efficiency of an Artificial Intelligence-Based 3D-Angiography for Visualization of Cerebral Aneurysm: Comparison with the Conventional Method
ConclusionsThe AI-based 3D ‑A technique is feasible and evaluable visualization of cerebral vasculature with respect to quantitative and qualitative parameters in 3D-DSA micro imaging. However, the 3D‑A technique offers lower visualization of such as the distal portion of the AChA than 3D-DSA. (Source: Clinical Neuroradiology)

Venous 3D  Phase Contrast Magnetic Resonance Angiography Increases Diagnostic Certainty in Children with Ventriculoperitoneal Shunt and Suspected Shunt Failure
ConclusionIn accordance with the literature, the results show that ventricular morphology alone is an unreliable marker for elevated ICP in children with shunt malfunction. The findings confirmed 3D  vPCA as a valuable supplemental diagnostic tool improving diagnostic certainty for children with unchanged ventricular size in cases of shunt failure. Early Outcomes of the Pipeline Vantage Flow Diverter
ConclusionsIn this non-industry-sponsored study, the occlusion rates and safety outcomes were similar to those seen in previously published studies with flow diverter devices and earlier generation Pipeline devices. Modifications to the device appear to have improved ease of deployment. (Source: Clinical Neuroradiology)

Primary Pathology of the Parapharyngeal Space
AbstractThe radiologically defined parapharyngeal space is a  distinct location on cross-sectional imaging and is often described based on its displacement or invasion by tumors or other pathologies in adjacent spaces; however, there are multiple primary pathologic entities of the parapharyngeal space, which are often forgotten. Recognizing that a lesion is arising from the parapharyngeal space is important in generating an accurate differential diagnosis that will guide management. (Source: Clinical Neuroradiology)

Treatment of Intracranial Vertebral Artery Dissecting Aneurysms Using Pipeline Embolization Devices
ConclusionTreating IVADAs with PEDs may be a  safe and effective option, with favorable clinical and angiographic outcomes; however, complications associated with this treatment should not be ignored.Registrationhttp://www.clinicaltrials.gov. Nidus Compacity Determined by Semi-Automated Segmentation is a  Strong Quantitative Predictor of Brain Arterio-Venous Malformation Cure
ConclusionNidus high compacity quantitatively measured on 3D-RA, using a  dedicated segmentation tool is predictive of bAVM cure. Further investigation and prospective studies are warranted to confirm these preliminary results. (Source: Clinical Neuroradiology)

Cost-effectiveness of WEB Embolization, Coiling and Stent-assisted Coiling for the Treatment of Unruptured Intracranial Aneurysms
ConclusionThe novel WEB showed at least comparable cost-effectiveness to SAC for treatment of broad-based unruptured aneurysms. Considering all three modalities, coiling had the least costs; however this modality is often not appropriate for the treatment of wide-necked aneurysms. (Source: Clinical Neuroradiology)
