187 Targeted Lung Health Check Programme at Frimley Health Foundation Trust
Lung cancer remains the 3rd most common cancer in England, leading cause of cancer death in the UK. In the last ten years, patients have benefited from the development of targeted therapies for patients however prognosis remains limited, and most patients will die of the disease within five years of diagnosis. It was recommended by the UK national screening committee in June 2022 that we move forward to implement TLHC screening. (Source: Lung Cancer)
