182 Lung cancer findings from two Targeted Lung Health Check programmes running simultaneously across different geographically close regions and NHS trusts
Bradford Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust (BTHFT) undertakes two Targeted Lung Health Check (TLHC) programmes covering different geographical areas. One covering North Kirklees which started in October 2021, the other Bradford and Craven which began in February 2022. Up until October 2023 a combined total 7429 participants have had a TLHC low dose computerised tomography scan (LDCT). Following processing of LDCT results, referrals are made to the relevant lung multidisciplinary team (MDT) at either Bradford and Airedale or Mid Yorkshire hospitals for suspected lung cancers identified as per the national protocol.
