I made millions off the opioid epidemic.
This story is fiction and any correlation between it and real events is a coincidence. I'm writing this information in the hope that practicing physician's may learn form it, and possibly stop the rampant practice of opioid diversion. That's right I made millions of dollars in the early 2000's until roughly 2013 on diversion. My prime diversion target's are 40-65 years olds on ssi/ssdi with limited savings or assets. That have financial hardships We had scouts who target these specific... I made millions off the opioid epidemic. (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Ira Cantor, MD: "Chronic Pain Patients Need Opioids"
The other opioid epidemic: Chronic pain patients in need of care - Philly Is Dr. Cantor justified believing this?? “There was no good medical reason to taper your medications. They were helpful and weren’t abused. There aren’t new regulations, rather, recommendations about not using higher levels of opioid medications unless there is a compelling reason.... Sounded ridiculous hearing this but the online articles are there. Also had made multiple unsubstantiated statements such as placing patients on methadone or suboxone reduced the risk of death by more than 50% compared to other opiates.... for pain pills pushers
When it is the time to recognize that pain medicine is a total failure? What is the contribution of the pain management field in the opioid epidemic? Just have the balls to recognize that is useless . You want facts? What's the percentage of patient post interventional procedures without opioids and productive? Just spit it on "pain doctors"! The 21st century opioid epidemic began through a series of events that resulted in significant relaxation of criteria for opioid prescribing and a willingness to prescribe much higher doses than had been seen previously. It was due to drug company pseudoscience, legislatures and medical boards who rolled back restrictions on prescribing and developed new legislation to promote medical prescribing, quasi-governmental agencies such as JCAHO adoption of the "5th Vital Sign", pain society...
