USC OT 2019-2020 Applicants
As we approach the application deadline for the University of Southern California Entry-Level Master’s program, I figured I’d start a thread where we can all impatiently wait together! Did anyone notice on the admissions blog that they are implementing a “phase 2” this cycle? It looks like there will be some sort of video submission required for select applicants. Resources for Billing?
Do y’all recommend any resources (websites, podcasts, blogs, YouTube videos, PDFs) where I can learn more about how to bill? It could even be conferences (ie ASIPP, AAPM). Ideally I’d like to learn the following: What exactly do I have to include in a clinic note or post op note in order to capture all legal billing? How can I pass audits and minimize risks in billing according to guidelines? I’m sure it changes frequently but I don’t need 100% up to date... Resources for Billing? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Can you hear me now?
Do you all hate the ‘can you hear me now’ Verizon guy who backstabbed the only company that gave the worthless hack a career and started making Sprint commercials? I already wasn’t going to switch to Sprint, but the Paul Marcarelli commercials make me hate Sprint and Paul. This guy knows what I’m talking about: I Absolutely DESPISE The Sprint Guy… Okay, so I’ve only blogged maybe 2-3 times in the last couple weeks and the reason is pretty simple: I’ve just been so preoccupied with snorting preworkout and rawdogging self consc...

Attire Question
I feel like a dingus for asking this question, but I have nowhere left to turn lol. *Please note that I attempted to Google this question, but every blog/post talked about nonsense the whole time. Anyways, my school sent this in an email “The attire for Monday is a jacket and tie for gentlemen and equivalent business dress attire for ladies.” Long story short, I don’t know if a jacket means a suit or sports jacket. Can I wear what I wore on the interview trail (suit)? I know it states... Attire Question (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Paid blogging as a resident on medical related topics/drug use?
Does anyone know if paid blogging in any way can be an issue as a resident, since as a physician giving opinions publicly is different? Not aware of anything on my contract that remotely suggests you can't do it, especially since the site is based in a neighboring country anyway. There's no mention of my institution in my writing, there's nothing to sell so obviously 0 endorsement of anything. And when talking about substance abuse, of course the position is fully against. Though it's mainly... Paid blogging as a resident on medical related topics/drug use? (Source: Student Doctor Network)
