p2p uptick
Is anyone else noticing a serious increase in the number of denials received for what seems like it should be completely obvious?
I'm regularly having to do p2ps for IMRT/SBRT denial for reirradiation of the spine (i.e. overlapping, abutting or same segment) in a young metastatic breast patient with otherwise limited disease and excellent KPS. It's bananas.

Murdaugh trial and opioids
So there's this guy on trial for murder. Murdaugh. Don't really care about it so much, but read an article about it today where he said he had been on opioids for 2 decades (illicitly) and had been taking as much as 2000mg of oxy per day. That's 3000mmes. I mean, tolerance is a thing and I guess this is technically possible but this quantity seems bananas to me even when looking at my hardcore drug addicts that grace the ED.
Does this seem plausible? Anyone in pain or more likely...

Vegans & Sugar
I see some vegans eating like 12 bananas a day, and other types of fruit. How come vegans don't have T2DM eating all that sugar? Some nutritionists recommend eating only 2-3 fruits per day to have a moderation, but these people are eating like 12 mangoes, 12 bananas, berries..etc so how come they don't have diabetes? The guy I saw eating all that actually does biking so I suppose he needs the extra glucose but still is that not a bit over excessive? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Headaches and Muscle Cramps
Many CF warriors experience chronic headaches. I have not yet heard from any doctors a clear and reasonable explanation as to why we have the headaches. My suspicion is that CF is not directly the cause of the headaches, but all the stuff we do and go through as a result of CF can point to several culprits. All I can contribute to this issue is my own experience.
I have gone through periods of time with continuous headaches (if I dont medicate the headache) and periods of time with absolutely no headaches. By the process of elimination, I have come to some conclusions.
