American board certified working in Canada? requirements?
Hi everyone. I have a good friends who is a Canadian citizen. He did his residency in the US. He tells me that in Canada, anesthesiology residency is 5 years so to have equivalent training you would need to do a fellowship to be licensed and work in Canada as an anesthesiologist. It seems like other royal colleges; however, the American board certification is acceptable and there is reciprocity (Australia, etc). Anyone have any experience with this? Canadians that went to La trobe university or Adelaide in Australia?
Hello,
I was wondering if there were any Canadians that went to or are currently going to La trobe university or Adelaide for the dental programs to become a dentist?
I know both of these programs are accredited under the ADC (Australian dental council) but has anyone actually been able to practice in Canada without completing any additional testing? Does the CDA recognize La trobe and Adelaide?
