In-situ preparation of hollow CdCoS < sub > 2 < /sub > heterojunction with enhanced photocurrent response for highly photoelectrochemical sensing of organophosphorus pesticides
In this study, a porous hollow CdCoS2(2) microsphere was synthesized based on the ZIF-67-S MOFs derived method of sulfurization reaction and calcination process. Under visible light irradiation, the resulting CdCoS2(2) composite showed a markedly enhanced photoelectrochemical (PEC) response. The photocurrent value of the CdCoS2(2) modified ITO electrode was 93-fold and 41-fold than that of CoS and CdS materials, respectively. Promoting the photo-absorption ability by internal multilight scattering/reflection was due to the porous and hollow nature of CdCoS2(2). Furthermore, obtained CdCoS2(2) heterostructure in-situ with a...

Dequalinium chloride is an antagonists of α7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptors
Eur J Pharmacol. 2022 May 4;925:175000. doi: 10.1016/j.ejphar.2022.175000. Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTDequalinium chloride has been used primarily as antiseptic compounds, but recently has been investigated for its effects on specific targets, including muscarinic acetylcholine receptors. Here we investigated dequalinium chloride as an antagonist to α7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptors. The pharmacological properties of dequalinium were established using cell lines stably co-transfected with the calcium-permeable human α7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptors and its chaperone NACHO, calcium dye fluorescent measurements o...

Sensors, Vol. 21, Pages 8050: Colorimetric Detection of Organophosphate Pesticides Based on Acetylcholinesterase and Cysteamine Capped Gold Nanoparticles as Nanozyme
ashir Ahmad Organophosphates (OPs) are neurotoxic agents also used as pesticides that can permanently block the active site of the acetylcholinesterase (AChE). A robust and sensitive detection system of OPs utilising the enzyme mimic potential of the cysteamine capped gold nanoparticles (C-AuNPs) was developed. The detection assay was performed by stepwise addition of AChE, parathion ethyl (PE)-a candidate OP, acetylcholine chloride (ACh), C-AuNPs, and 3, 3′, 5, 5′-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB) in the buffer solution. The whole sensing protocol completes in 30–40 min, including bo...

Microscope-FTIR Spectrometry Based Sensor for Neurotransmitters Detection
In this work, we present a new sensing approach for aqueous samples based on the microscope-FTIR spectrometer and applied for neurotransmitters. Our contribution in this work consists of a new sample handling system for the microscope-FTIR spectrometer based on a total reflective mirror, a heated hydrophobic layer for solvent removal/evaporation and sample confinement and a microfluidic system that handles sample injection unlike standard sample handling system which was based only on a total reflective mirror. In addition, another part of our contribution consists of proposing a new algorithm to extract molecular composit...

Magnetic covalent organic framework immobilized gold nanoparticles with high-efficiency catalytic performance for chemiluminescent detection of pesticide triazophos
Talanta. 2021 Dec 1;235:122798. doi: 10.1016/j.talanta.2021.122798. Epub 2021 Aug 12.ABSTRACTCovalent organic frameworks (COFs) are considered to be a promising support material for catalyst due to their highly ordered porous structure. Here, a core-shell structured Fe3O4 magnetic covalent organic framework (Fe3O4@COF) was synthesized and employed to provide basic sites for immobilization of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs). The AuNPs was in-situ immobilized on the shell of Fe3O4@COF via a citrate reducing method. The Fe3O4@COF-AuNP had convenient magnetic separability and exhibited excellent mimicking peroxidase-like activity i...
