Magnetic Resonance of Normal Variants of the Pediatric Knee

This article reviews key patterns of normal bone and cartilage development. The most common and important variants of bone, cartilage, and soft tissue structures encountered on pediatric MR studies are discussed. Emphasis is placed on those variants that can be mistaken for pathology and those that may predispose to the development of symptoms.
