E-035 Safety and Efficacy of Stent-Assisted Coiling of Ruptured Wide Neck Aneurysms in Comparison to Balloon Assisted Coiling in Acute Subarachnoid Hemorrhage

ConclusionIn this study, we observed that SAC is as safe as BAC for acute treatment of RWA, with better aneurysm occlusion rates, less re-treatment and without an increase in hemorrhagic complications. Further studies are warranted to validate these findings in a prospective randomized manner before widespread application in the management of patients with acute aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage.Disclosures S.
