Relationship between nonalcoholic fatty liver disease and bone mineral density in type 2 diabetic patients

ConclusionFor males aged ≥ 50 years or postmenopausal female T2DM patients with NAFLD, the BMD levels were lower, and lower BMD levels were more likely to lead to the development of NAFLD. The BMD was an independent protective factor for T2DM patients.
