Brain metastases in patients with oncogenic-driven non-small cell lung cancer: Pros and cons for early radiotherapy

Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) constitutes approximately 85% of all lung cancers and is well known for high incidence of brain metastases (BMs). BM has been reported at an incidence rate of 10 – 20% at diagnosis and ∼25% during the course of the disease.[1–3]
