The aha/acc consensus conference: a roadmap for success or just a long road?

At no time in our modern-day history have institutions of higher learning and professional organizations been under more scrutiny to demonstrate team diversity, a battle cry for social justice, outrage at a flawed social system, care for all ranks of caregivers, and policing of those “dangerous liaisons” with “big pharma” and industry. The stakes have never been higher. Today, breathe the wrong word, and incomplete sound bites will land you in the unemployment line. Between a global pandemic, civil unrest, political division, and a multi-generational society with diverge nt opinions, discord has become the norm.
