YouTube as a source of information on gonadotropin self-injections

Infertility is a frequently encountered health problem with severe psychological, economic, and social aspects [1,2]. Its incidence is estimated to be in the range of 12-18%. Currently, one of the treatment options for infertility is the use of gonadotropins; there are preparations including follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) or luteinizing hormone (LH) or a combination of both. Proper use of these costly medications and patient compliance are crucial in the success of treatments such as ovulation induction and controlled ovarian hyperstimulation.
