Doctors overestimate risk leading to over-diagnosis, overtreatment, study finds

Such overestimations can lead to overdiagnosis and overtreatment, according to a recent study conducted by researchers at the University of Maryland School of Medicine (UMSOM) published in JAMA Internal Medicine.
