Predictor analysis of 1-year restenosis after percutaneous transluminal angioplasty for femoropopliteal stenotic lesions using intravascular ultrasound

In conclusion, the 1-year primary patency rate after PTA for relatively short stenotic femoropopliteal lesions was 63%. The large post-intervention maximum angle of dissection, measured using intravascular ultrasound, and insulin use were independent predictors of restenosis after PTA .
