Disturbed sleep quality and architecture in adolescents with type 1 diabetes mellitus: relation to glycemic control, vascular complications and insulin sensitivity
Sleep is a complex, highly organized biological and behavioral process crucial for the body homeostasis. [1] Disturbed sleep patterns (i.e., restriction, deprivation, and fragmentation) in healthy adults cause both metabolic and cardiovascular derangements.
