The dissemination mode of drug-resistant genes in Enterobacter cloacae

Conclusion: Antibiotic resistance genes may be horizontally and vertically disseminated among E. cloacae, which helps multidrug-resistant (MDR) strains of E. cloacae to be successful nosocomial agents.
