Complete resection of a previously unsuspected 5 mm duodenal submucosal carcinoma
A 56-year-old man was found to have a flat-elevated lesion, 5 mm in diameter, located at the descending part of the duodenum. The lesion was endoscopically diagnosed as an adenoma (Fig. 1a, b).
