Hospital discharge hemoglobin values and posthospitalization clinical outcomes in transfused patients undergoing noncardiac surgery.

CONCLUSION: Hospital discharge hemoglobin values for transfused surgical patients were not associated with hospital readmission rates except for those receiving postoperative intensive care.
