Conclusions BoNT-A is an effective adjunct to therapy and surgery in managing muscle imbalance, cocontractions, and contractures in neonatal brachial plexus palsy. Use of BoNT-A can result in averting, modifying, or deferring surgical interventions in a number of affected children.
