Associations between metabolic syndrome and urinary Na-to-K ratio and glomerular filtration rate in middle-aged adults regardless of Na and K intakes

ConclusionMetS risk was found to be associated with U-Na/K and GFR regardless of I-Na/K. Women need to maintain a high GFR to reduce the MetS risk, especially the risk of hypertension.
