Treatment options and prognosis are limited for patients with high grade glioma (pwHGG), underscoring the importance of patient and caregiver understanding to prioritize goals of care and quality of life. Patients and caregivers may experience discordance in understanding prognosis. Multiple factors may contribute to this discordance including cognitive decline, poor communication, emotional shock, grief, coping, etc.
