American Society of Radiologic Technologists Foundation Professional Research Grant Program We are committed to supporting the research and analysis of issues that affect the radiologic sciences. The professional research grant program assists radiologic technologists and radiation therapists with an award of up to $10,000 to conduct a research project in affiliation with an academic or clinical institution. Important Dates Proposals are considered twice yearly. To have your proposal reviewed, submit a completed application by March 1 for the spring round and August 1 for the fall round. Applicants are notified of funding decisions by June 1 for the spring round or December 1 for the fall round. Eligibility Requirements Applications must be submitted by an ASRT member who is also registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (or equivalent) or an ASRT member who holds an unrestricted state license. Proposed research projects must be for a period not to exceed two years. Acceptable areas of research include radiation therapy, dosimetry, medical imaging, and radiologic science education and administration. Previous grant recipients are eligible to apply. ASRT Foundation Board of Trustees, staff and their immediate family members are ineligible.
