The impacts of intra-arterial chemotherapy on head and neck microvascular reconstruction.

CONCLUSION: Despite treating local advanced head and neck cancers with good results, IA chemotherapy may cause subsequent deleterious effects on local tissue due to the high concentration of cytotoxic chemotherapeutic agents.
