CREB/CRTC-mediated regulation of transcription is important for regulatory T cells

Conclusion: Our data point to an activation of CREB/CRTC-mediated transcription in naturally occurring as well as in in vitro induced Tregs. CREB knockdown reduced the formation of iTregs suggesting a possible role of this pathway in immune tolerance.
