It is the sustainable one in which the waste materials produced from thermal power stations are used as partial or complete replacement of cement to make the environment free from the release of carbon dioxide emission from cement manufacturing companies. The paper deals with the study of material properties, processing & characterization of fly ash based Geopolymer. The paper widely describes about the characterization & chemical composition of fly ash based Geopolymers at ambient temperatures. Tests include X-Ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS) and physical, mechanical properties include workability, compressive strength tests respectively. Tests result exhibited the potential benefit of fly ash based Geopolymer as an alternative for ordinary Portland cement for the concrete industry.
