Parkinson's Disease and Symptomatic Osteoarthritis Are Independent Risk Factors of Falls in the Elderly.

Conclusions: Symptomatic hip and knee osteoarthritis are risk factors for falls and related fractures among the elderly population with and without Parkinson's disease.
