A computational study targeting the mutated L321F of ERG11 gene in C.albicans, associated with fluconazole resistance with bioactive compounds from Acacia nilotica

Conclusion: The findings of the study emphasize that kaempferol, apigenin and catechin from A.nilotica seem to possess a promising inhibitory effect against the wild and mutated ERG11 of C.albicans suggesting ERG11 as the best target to combat fluconazole resistant C.albicans with further in-vivo validation targeting the same.
