US WorldMeds lands new FDA approval
Louisville-based pharmaceutical company US WorldMeds LLC received Food and Drug Administration approval for a new use of its drug Myobloc.
Myobloc can now be used to treat sialorrhea, commonly known as drooling. It's a common and unfortunate symptom that follows many neurological disorders such as Parkinson's Disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), cerebral palsy and stroke to name a few.
