Relationship Between F2 Slope and Intelligibility in Parkinson's Disease: Lexical Effects and Listening Environment.

Conclusions The relationship between F2 slope and intelligibility in PD was affected by lexical factors and listening conditions. F2 slope was more strongly related to intelligibility in noise than in quiet for speakers with PD. This relationship was absent in highly frequent words presented in quiet and those with fewer lexical neighbors. PMID: 31306601 [PubMed - in process]
