The effect of gender on methotrexate prescription attitudes in Italian rheumatoid arthritis patients: the MARI study.

CONCLUSIONS: In Italy, prescription patterns of MTX do not differ between genders. However, women seem to be at higher risk of adverse events leading to MTX modifications.
