American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology $5,000 Trainee Research Awards ASCCP $5,000 Trainee Research Awards Application deadline: May 24, 2013 ASCCP 2014 Biennial Scientific Meeting APRIL 9–12, 2014 Phoenix-Scottsdale, Arizona The American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology has established a research award in the area of lower genital tract disorders. The purpose of this award is to provide seed funding to junior investigators to advance knowledge in the field of cervical, vaginal and vulvar disorders and to present their research at the ASCCP Biennial Scientific Meeting. Eligibility: The applicant must be in a health-related graduate training program at the time the application is submitted (i.e., medical residency, fellows, physician’s assistant program or graduate level nursing program). The applicant must have written approval from the program director of the training program or institutional administrator to receive a non-educational grant. Application Guidelines: The application deadline is May 24, 2013 and must include the following (4) required components: -- Write the scientific research proposal in eight (8) pages or less and include the following: Hypothesis; Specific Aims; Background and Significance; Experimental Design; and, References -- A one-page research budget, including Biennial registration and travel costs -- Curriculum vitae -- Letter of support from program d...
