The role of skin self-examination in early detection, the use of dreamscape tools, and some other techniques application for analyze of lesion (suspect for conatus melanoma) have been reviewed. Electrochemical and optical biosensors for melanoma detecting are also discussed. Besides, the advantages and disadvantages of the reviewed methods have been explained and compared. Furthermore, several cancer biomarkers for early and reliable diagnosing of melanoma at the points of proteomics and genomics have been mentioned. The development of automated biodevices for fast and accurate detecting of individual lesions together full-body screening methods can propose dermatologists with good detail relating the structure of a lesion and staging data in vivo. However, there are some challenges about the competition of novel methods in price and ease of use with visual inspection that should be considered and solved.
