He's accompanied once more by comedian Dara Ó Briain, who makes for an effective sidekick with his comic rather than cosmic background and demeanour. He is shown how to spot and take pictures of celestial marvels, followed by half an hour of discussion with an invited audience over what hidden glories the telescope has revealed. David StubbsDeath In Paradise9pm, BBC1Ben Miller returns as uptight Brit detective Richard Poole, never without jacket and tie, solving crimes in the Caribbean. This week, the owner of a sugar plantation is found with a machete in his back. As usual, there's a cast of suspects – an ex-wife, a younger girlfriend, an adopted nephew – the puzzle of how the murder was carried out, and the exoticism of tropical life. The dénouement, performed with suspects at the murder scene, is the sort of thing Miller would have lampooned as part of comedy duo Armstrong And Miller.
