Availability of highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART) for HIV has prolonged life expectancy of patients but has also increased the incidence of non AIDS comorbid conditions. Among these, there are cardiovascular disease, and aortic involvement has been described in HIV patients in the form of aortitis, aneurysm or dissection.
