7.5 Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Resident Training and Mandated Reporting of Abuse/Neglect

The goals of this session are as follows: 1) to review the experience of potentially fraught supervisee-supervisor relationships within child and adolescent psychiatry training programs; 2) to highlight the nature of potentially clashing ethical and legal obligations in the context of mandated reporting of abuse/neglect; and 3) to examine the impact of mandated reporting on the supervisor-trainee relationship.
