This study demonstrates a clear correlation between serum cryptococcal antigen titre and meningitis. While the serum titre is not definitive for meningitis, in resource-limited settings or cases where lumbar puncture may be contraindicated, this evidence may aid diagnosis and subsequent therapeutic decisions.
