Bleeding after stenting: statistics in daily practice

An old saying “If you can't stand the heat, don't go in the kitchen” is quite well applicable in the prescription of anticoagulant drugs after stenting. If not given in adequate dosage and duration there is enhanced risk for acute stent thrombosis, at the other hand every anticoagulant regime will increase bl eeding.
