Efficacy of sodium hypochlorite against multidrug-resistant gram-negative bacteria
ConclusionNaOCl efficiently reduced Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Acinetobacter spp., and Klebsiella spp. particularly in the absence of organic matter. Strain- and species-specific differences in susceptibility were noticed, but in general MDR-GNB revealed no higher tolerance to NaOCl.
