Laparoscopic Lateral Pancreaticojejunostomy and Laparoscopic Berne Modification of Beger Procedure for the Treatment of Chronic Pancreatitis: The First UK Experience
Conclusions:The laparoscopic approach to pancreatic duct drainage and duodenum-preserving head resection in carefully selected patients and in experienced hands is feasible and safe with good short-term results and potential advantages. Further expansion of experience and longer follow-up is required.
